What are Yeshua Groups?
A Yeshua Group is a simple gathering of friends: read a story from Yeshua’s life, ask what it says, listen to one another, and consider how it touches your lives. You do not have to be a teacher to begin.
A simple way to begin
Yeshua’s stories belong to the Jewish world of the land of Israel two thousand years ago and to the wider story of Israel’s Scriptures. Even today, many people say encountering him changed their lives. We believe reading these stories together can bring hope, comfort, and practical direction, and help us encourage people around us.
We would love to encourage you to start your own Yeshua Group and show you how simple it can be.
You do not need to be a teacher. Meet at home, in a café, in a park, beside a stream, during reserve service, or wherever works for you.
A simple pattern for every meetingLooking back, looking up, looking forwardThree parts of a meeting: share what happened, read Scripture together, and consider the next step.
Looking back
Begin with a simple conversation. How was your week? What are we thankful for? What was difficult? How can we help each other?
Return to the step you chose last time. What did we put into practice? What did we sense the Spirit of God showing us to do?
Looking up
Read the story. One or two people retell it in their own words, then everyone returns to the passage.
Explore the Head, Heart, Hands, and Feet questions together. No lecturer is needed. Give everyone room to notice, listen, and discover.
Looking forward
Share what you hope to do in the coming week and how you will respond to what the Spirit of God has spoken to your heart.
Encourage each other, think of someone to share with, and pray simply for the week until you meet again.
